I just received some drafts for our custom invitations in my inbox from Janie of We Heart Paper, and I nearly fell out of my chair with excitement and shock. I sent her all of my inspiration pieces from the web, like this one, this set, a mish mash of lovely fonts, a fun save the date, and one more; and as you can see I'm head over heels for this fun use of fonts and typesetting trend. Janie told me I should reel her in if she's gone overboard, but the more intense the design gets, the more in love I fall.
Please help me choose! I present my top 3 choices from simplest to boldest:
One: Scrolls and Vines
Two: Pretty Banner
Three: Typeset Hearts
This is the first draft of each of them- so if you've Where's Waldo-ed the typo, no worries we'll fix it :) But the real issue at hand is, which one do we choose? Marc loves them all too!
So what's your vote, One (Scrolls and Vines), Two (Pretty Banner) or Three (Typeset Hearts)? Or do you think we all need reeling in?

I really like the Typeset Hearts one. Very modern looking while still having some classical romance. The only suggestion that I would make is changing some of the font sizes so that they the largest font is not your parents' last name, so instead the eye goes to you & your future husband. But they're all beautiful!
The first one has too many things going on, it gets confusing. The second one reminds me of a vintage newspaper announcement, which is cool, but I would expect that to be followed up by a newspaperey themed reception, where the groomsmen have hats with "Press" tags in them and keep calling everyone Smitty. I think the third one looks most like you and your theme, and its really pretty. I vote for that one.
I like the third one the best! Love your blog too!
I'll be in the minority and I hate to totally contradict Epicurette but I think exactly the opposite. The 3rd one feels like it has a lot going on, the typset is all different and while it's cool, it's all too close together and my eyes don't know where to go next. Plus, I'm not feeling the lines of hearts, but that's just my opinion.
I like the 1st one the best. I really like the scrolls and the laurel branches around the 2010. You could easily use that other places too.
I like # 3 best, except I feel like the KELLY on top is going to punch me if I look at it the wrong way. I like the other two as well, though the laurel on #1 makes me think I've won an award. I do like the old-timeyness of #2, but then, I love old timeyness.
haha, marc aaron friedberg in the last one! that one's my favorite, though, especially because of the hearts. but i agree with Tamar about the font sizes!

I agree with everybody's selections, but at the same time, I strongly disagree with them
